I do believe you that this is a American Robin, but in this colour coat, I would not recognize it. For me it could just as well be a number of other species. Always interesting to see such strange colours. About the picture: I think that the sharpness is more on the branch than on the bird. Maybe a bit more USM? If you get a chance to take a picture of it against a darker background, I think it would look even more spectacular. Greetings, Leo

I had to look twice before I even recognized the family this species belongs to. Is it really an albino, i.e. is its eye colored red? If not, it's not an albino (although i would guess this bird is an albino). If not predated it may occur that its decendants are albino too; i have seen this more than once with House Sparrow.
