Place: In the south of Thailand

Pic Description: Size: 9 cm. Habitat: forest edge, secondary growth and wooded gardens, cultivation, from plains to 900m. Common resident.

The background is a big banana leaf. It came for eating banana and not scare the human. I stood only 5-6 m. from the bird.

Taken by EOS 10D with EF 400 F2.8L at F4, 1/60 and ISO 100

A very thight composition Nuit. I like the background colour a lot, reminds me of the nice fresh green of the jungle!

I think you are the one with the most colorfull postings here on Birdpix.
Nice shot again. Did you use flash-light? (i see a double reflection in the eye)
