Hi Jan (and Hi Peter) you cannot ask me to give a rating to one of my photos, since (as Peter yet knows) I'm always very very critical about my photos ... (and, I think, the majority of photographers are critical about their works ...). In my opinion, it is always very difficult to judge a photo, because the judgment depends on many factors .. About this picture, in my opinion it is a very good one, on of the best I ever seen of a Swift species (and I'm very proud to be the author ..) for composition, light and action, but I ask to myself if the rating must has been 10 if the species was "only" a Common Swift Apus apus ... ANYWAY: VERY MANY THANKS INDEED TO ALL YOU GUYS!! Daniele

@Daniele: I think in this case the species doesn't really matter. It is a superb picture for the reasons you already mention. And if someone manages to make a normal Swift picture of this qualitiy, I think it will get the same ratings. I don't rate anymore here, but when I did I wouldn't give any picture a 10, but this one will be as close as it gets.
