Heb nu Sigma 150-500. Best tevreden over lens, maar kan nu Canon 100-400 kopen. Hoe zijn de resultaten als je er nu een converter tussen zet ?

Op jouw body verlies je hoe dan ook de autofocus.
Ik heb de 100-400 met 1,4x converter gebruikt voordat ik mijn 500mm had. De resultaten vielen me niet tegen, maar ik zou in jou geval niet gaan voor de 100-400. Je wint er maar 60mm mee aan bereik (in combinatie met een 1,4x converter), ten opzichte van je 150-500, met het risico op onscherpe foto`s.

Een 100-400 met TC1.4 is echt niks. De kwaliteit holt achteruit met een converter. Probeer dichter bij je onderwerp te komen met je huidige lens (schuiltent) of spaar voor een prime lens is mijn advies.
