Fishing on little 3 meter boat on Adriatic See near Senj, Croatia with my camera. First time I did use so small apperture and it was worth it. Canon EOS 1D, Canon EF 300mm f4.0 L USM IS, 1/1250 sec, f9.0, ISO 200 ASA. Scientific name: Larus michahellis

My hobby when on my see house in Senj, Croatia, is picturing seagulls, since they are biggest birds I usualy see in Croatia. I do not know how you guys are managing to keep white feathers not overburned, that was very big problem for me. I am always shooting in manual mode, underexposing for about -1EV or more and still having white feathers completly burned out. After long time I managed to take care of that and I think this photo shows it.
