In (Western) Europe the Isabelline Shrike (Lanius isabellinus) is a rare visitor from Central Asia. This bird was observed from February 2 - 10, 2008 in the Nature Reserve Desembocadura del Guadalhorce near the airport of Málaga in Andalucia (Spain).

Due to a distance of about 500 m the technical quality of this picture is not satisfying. Nevertheless, I posted this picture, because it was very impressive to see the struggle of the White-tailed Eagle with the caught Shelduck, which was still alive in this moment.
