Sungei Buloh Wetland Reserve is a small magrove forest on the north west rim of SIngapore. A nice area for watching eagles, seabirds, kingfishers, but also for this owl. I walked past a small pond and heard some noice in the water, right next to me this owl flew up and presented himself in a tree just five meters awat. Scientific name: Ketupa ketupu
Dutch name: Maleise Visuil
English name: Buffy Fish Owl
