In the middle of his territory the Golden Eagle has some favourite places on wich he likes to stay hours long,looking arround at its habitat.That are usually single rocks, situated at the top of high hills....Some couples can spend half a day standing on such a point,especially in winter,when the air doesn`t move vertikally. After every 2-3 bits the Golden Eagle usually takes a look around,to be sure that nobody is in the area of the feeding site..... Thanks to his sharp eye vision,he can register even the smallest changes in the surrounding landscape. Scientific name: Aquila chrysaetos

This is the last year fledgling of the local Golden eagles pair. It is a female and still inhabits the territory of its parents which can sustain the three eagles. However, it doesn’t solicit for food the adults anymore and is able to provide food for itself. Scientific name: Aquila chrysaetos
