This bird was interested by a carcass and bones on which he was feeding. Several birds were flying above this feeding point. Time to time they were landing to pick some bones... Scientific name: Gypaetus barbatus

I finished my last control round of nestboxes and natural holes yesterday and I can confirm that, to my knowledge, for the first time since 20 years that I am monitoring Tengmalm's Owl there was no known successfull breeding this year in Belgium (just an early abandonned clutch of 3 eggs). So, no picture this year but here one of 2 years ago... Scientific name: Aegolius funereus

I am quiet often out on the field to study Tengmalm's Owl. It has given me opportunities to take pictures of this species. Last sping, I tried to take pictures of the bird flying during the day... Scientific name: Aegolius funereus
