During a hike, a small group came very close and waited for us to give them some food. They seemed to like the rests of fruit we throwed in their direction!
In the back ground, you can see the Mont Blanc, highest peak in Europe. Scientific name: Pyrrhocorax pyrrhocorax

First pic of this beautiful bird on BP! This guy and his female were preparing their nest, so I could observe them several times, but always early in the morning.  guess they stayed in shadow during the day to avoid being in the hot sun Scientific name: Amadina fasciata
